Appliction Letter to Moses Hampton (upload file AND print)
January 10, 2015 Mr. Moses Hampton Talbot Thingamajig, Inc. 4618 ¾ William Flynn Hwy. Allison Park, PA 15101
Dear Mr. Hampton,
I hope this finds you well. I am writing to ask for your consideration for an overseas assignment of our company Talbot Thingamajig, Inc. I would like to take this assignment for our Russian team. I would enjoy this assignment because I am interested in Russian history and culture. I am also interested in Russian cuisine. I have never been to Russia so it would be nice to taste new foods and see new places.
Over these next weeks, I will learn about the history and culture of Russia and hopefully learn some of the language. Speaking the language will be essential when I communicate with other people in the country. Learning about the culture would prepare me for interacting with people in Russia. I am certain that I will be of great service to the Russian team of our company.
Ultimately, I feel that I would be excellent for the job because I am very flexible. I have moved many times in my life and have gone to many places. I have experience with big moves like this. In the past, I lived in Canada for a year before returning to the United States. This transition to Russia will be similar, but over a greater distance and to an entirely new country and continent. I am also very adaptable. If things become difficult in Russia, I will persevere for our company.
Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
